The Fearnley Observatory in Hesketh Park was open today. This is the first time I have ever seen it open in my 45 years!!

Like most things in Southport the telescope is broken, but plans are to refurbish it with lottery money. As I said that was the first time I have ever been in there ,but I have been past 1000's of times.
