Anyone caught speeding through Rufford will only have themselves to blame...
The County Council's spent £10,000 to erect three new signs warning of the limits on the A59 near Rufford Old Hall.
A spokesman told QLocal that it's invested in them to reinforce the 30mph speed limit through the village - and encourage people to drive safely.
"The new signs are to replace previous speed indicator signs which had become worn out and beyond repair," he said.
"They have been relocated to both slow traffic as it enters the 30mph limit and as a reminder near the entrance to Rufford Old Hall to reinforce the speed limit by the Hall and on the approach to the centre of the village."
A sign which indicates a vehicle's actual speed has been put up just within the entrance to the 30mph limit. A sign which flashes to indicate the 30mph speed limit has been put up near the entrance to Rufford Old Hall, but is not yet fully operational.
