Was in there a couple of weeks ago Roving, Thought the food and service was very good.
Will be going back again.

Good pics as always Roving. I used to have lunch there nearly every working day at one time. I worked for Freshpack Produce which was a couple of hundred yards up the road. I believe they went bust about three years after I left to come and live in Florida. Great shame that; they employed quite a few local people.

I know its a long while since anyone posted on here, just wondered IF by any chance anyone has been to the farmers arms in Burscough recently? Wonered what the menu was like etc etc as thinking of going this weekend many thanks

Been there many a time when doing the canal ride in the summer from Wigan or Parbold....

Used to go some years ago when the Irish landlady (she later moved to the Cheshire Lines) was in charge.

The food was excellent and the prices remarkably low (£2.95 for a three course meal for pensioners), but don't know what it's like today.

Might be worth a look one lunchtime...

went a few weeks ago, brill steak & chips with salad. Son had their pie & chips. Mega meal & loved it, first choice every time.
