Couple of questions...
Hi.
I have just listed an oil and wondered if you think it is impressionist or realist and if any attribution are possible? Is it in the style of Renoir?

Also is this is a good buy at £320 - £350? Is the age c.1800? I think it is.

Many thanks in advance.

Thank you Vanman for your response.
I think the age is more likely to be c.1830, do you agree?

Sorry about the bombarment of questions Vanman. The T S Cooper is nice but I don't think it is original as in the catalogue it was not described as by Thomas Sydney Cooper so they obviously had doubts. Also my oil does seem to fit into the right date category for the artist, but the stretcher and the canvas don't look to be good enough quality to be by a great artrist and the stretcher looks like it may of been made to look older, but 19th Century I think is right for the piece.

The same oil. Mine looks to be better quality don't you think?
